Meet The Mgones: One Year Anniversary Photo Shoot

They say the first year of marriage is pretty tough, but we are sure many of you who have tied the knot would say it's all worth it. For Kelsey and Charles Mgone, they decided to commemorate surviving one year of eternity with the absolutely most breathtaking photo shoot. The scene: the streets of gorgeous South Africa.

Kelsey, born in America, found her way to Tanzania for schooling. She fell so in love with Tanzania that she decided to stay there permanently and open up her own bakery called Dots Cupcakery. It was there that she met her Prince Charming, Charles, who was also establishing an amazing career ahead as a doctor. After getting married in 2015 they found their way to South Africa.

Kariba: Kariba Photography is a Wedding and Portrait Photographer for the Seattle, Washington and surrounding locations. If you crave photographs that are vibrant, crisp and sleek that stand out from the crowd, Kariba Photography is your hot spot for epic imagery. Kariba Photography welcomes and finds joy in working with bridal couples from all ethnic backgrounds. My clients pride themselves in being able to express their cultural background while knowing their most cherish moments will be captured.

HBD: That's really amazing that you work to capture the beauty of couple's cultures! What do you find clients always say they love about working with you?

Kariba: Clients love the energy I always bring to their big day. Weddings can become stressful, but being able to remember to laugh, dance while nobody is watching and create those memories that make the day uniquely yours and special is what it is all about.

Victor: My name is Victor Zerga and I am a wedding photographer in Seattle. My work has become synonymous with capturing brilliant moments in every frame. I prefer to let the events of the day unfold naturally and simply be prepared to capture them as they happen. While I do occasionally give some direction, I strive to inject fun into my photography, creating unexpected compelling images. I specialize in Habesha, Indian and Asian weddings. I'm available for destination ceremonies anywhere in the world.
