Where are you from?
Small town called Morton, WA :)
What is your favorite thing that you’re involved in at school?
President of the Filipino organization on campus and being a Program Coordinator for the Center for Diversity and Social Justice
What is the most fun event you have planned?
I had the most fun planning "Mabuhay Philippines" which was a Filipino culture night that included food, games, trivia, and dancing! We had almost double the expected turnout and was just a great opportunity to educate the CWU campus community about Filipino culture.
If you could get married today, where would be your dream wedding?
I guess I don't really dream about a location. I really dream about being able to have my whole family and friends to attend! It would be amazing to be able to afford everyone to be part of that day!
What would be your wedding colors and/or theme?
My wedding is going to be full of sparkly gold and silver with some peach and rose pink tones! It's going to be huge :D
What are wedding traditions in your culture?
Some traditions include a Catholic Church ceremony that involves a lot of special prayers for the bride and groom. You can read more about it here! Traditionally, the groom’s family pays for the wedding and the grandparents act as the primary witnesses or sponsors. The bride’s gown is often custom made and both the bride and groom wear white. It is bad luck for the bride to try on her dress before the wedding day and to wear pearl jewelry, which is considered a bad omen. The groom wears a sheer, long-sleeve button-up shirt (barong tagalog) that is worn un-tucked over black pants with a white t-shirt underneath.

Your favorite drink to order at Starbucks: Salted caramel mocha with coconut milk or a shaken sweetened passion fruit iced tea
What’s in your purse?
Tissues, seven (7) lipsticks, one (1) lipgloss, eye drops, contact lense case, glasses case, wallet, teasing comb, watch, and two (2) perfumes....aka A LOT!

"Go confidently in the direction of your dreams, live the life you have imagined." - Henry David Thoreau

How great post! I loved it. I am also an event planner and feel so good when got to know about such talented newbie planners. Well, I am trying to find the affordable Los Angeles venues for my client. Can you help me by sharing a list of inexpensive venues?
