Elegant Beauty - 2016 Her Big Day Wedding Show Vendor

When it comes to your big day, it's not only about the fashion and aesthetics. Getting your face/skin in great condition is really important too. This is why we are excited to share one of our Health-Beauty vendors at Her Big Day: A Cultural Wedding Affair: Elegant Beauty!

Bonus: Elegant Beauty will be giving away a free skin analysis at the show!

Get to know Owner, Kavitha, below and get excited to mingle with her and see what awesome skin products and facials she offers at the wedding show on January 31st {buy your tickets here}!

Her Big Day (HBD): Tell us about your business! What do you specialize in and what makes you unique?
Kavitha: I am a independent business owner. I have skin care products for men and women, I do facials for women. I have been in this industry for 8 years. I have worked with hundreds of women and have helped them to improve their skin conditions. The unique part is that I first analyze the skin of the person with a machine and then I do the facial with the right product for their skin type and recommend the product to use on daily basis.

HBD: Why are you participating in Her Big Day: A Cultural Wedding Affair?
Kavitha: I was looking to help more ladies to boost their self esteem by looking their best on a daily basis. When I met Beri (co-founder ) of HBD and when she told me about the event coming up on Jan 31st I was so exicted to be a part of it.

HBD: What do you find clients always say they love about working with you?
Kavitha: I would say the thing they love about me is that I am a very friendly person and I treat them as my friend first and then client ( maybe that's why I have huge referral base business!). Also, I get them the best results for the money that they are investing in themselves.

Set the stage right at your wedding show with the best wedding furniture decor! From the special seating area for you and your groom to gaze out at your guests right down to the cocktail party layout, having the perfect set up is so important. This is why we are excited to announce one of our  Decor & Supplies vendors at Her Big Day: A Cultural Wedding Affair: Greenroom Decor!

Not only will Greenroom Decor be an event furniture and design services vendor at the show, but they will be setting up a special VIP Press Area and most importantly for you brides-to-be bringing your fiancé, a Men's Lounge area! So cool!

Her Big Day (HBD): Tell us about your business! What do you specialize in and what makes you unique?
David: I started over 25 years ago setting up dressing rooms for concert promoters like Universal Concerts, Monqui Presents, Telesis, Tasty Presents and many others... a time when there wasn't anyone doing hospitality locally for artists and musicians touring through Washington. I feel like the name of my business fits exactly what I do... styling for rock & roll stars. We are local, small and affordable... specialists at event interior design. We use the best in iconic furniture, have unusual props and a keen eye for space... explore the space!

HBD: You definitely have some of the most unique pieces we have ever seen! Why are you participating in Her Big Day: A Cultural Wedding Affair?
David:  This is my first year and I'm helping with some of the interior pieces... trying something new. A cultural affair is different and preferred!

HBD: What do you find clients always say they love about working with you?
David: "I'm glad we found you; you're local and totally affordable" "You're not like the national event rental companies".

HBD: What more should couples know about Greenroom Decor?
David: Brides: Let your "husbands to be" know I'm here for them when they're being asked to help plan the affair... you're not alone, guys! Although I can help in all aspects of a wedding's interior, I'd like to offer gentlemen of the affair a way to celebrate in style and add their flair to the special occasion.

Beauty With E Artistry - 2016 Her Big Day Wedding Show Vendor

You want your makeup to look flawless on your wedding day(s)! Finding a makeup artist that understands your vision is really important so we are excited to have Beauty With E Artistry as one of our Makeup Artist vendors at Her Big Day: A Cultural Wedding Affair.

Get to know Owner, Ebony Vasher-Smith below and get excited to mingle with her and see her beautiful makeup work at the wedding show in January {buy your tickets here}!

Her Big Day (HBD): Tell us about your business! What do you specialize in and what makes you unique?
Ebony: My name is Ebony with Beauty With E Artistry and I am a certified freelance makeup artist with a specialty in bridal and education. I have been in the beauty industry for just over 5 years. I decided to take a leap of faith and leave the retail world to gain more control over my schedule (and life!). It was one of the best decisions I have ever made. It gave me the opportunity to build my clientele and it also gave me the freedom to educate clients one-on-one, which is my passion. What makes me unique is my drive and my vision for making sure every client feels their best, whether it's HER BIG DAY or a night on the town.

HBD: We love how you decided to branch out on your own! Why are you participating in Her Big Day: A Cultural Wedding Affair?
Ebony: Yes! This is my first year and I am super excited! There isn't anything around like HBD and I'm honored to be a part of it. I love the fact that you give multicultural wedding planning options. I feel it sheds a much needed beautiful light on the cultures we have here in the Pacific Northwest. One of my absolute favorite weddings I had the pleasure of doing makeup for was an Indian bride having a traditional Indian wedding. The whole wedding was a five day event and though I was working, it did not feel like it. I seriously had the best time! I hope HBD is expanded to other regions so everyone can experience what goes into planning these big events.

HBD: Thank you so much! What do you find clients always say they love about working with you?
Ebony: I would say they love my professionalism, positive energy and attention to detail. I always make sure clients leave smiling and completely satisfied. Weddings can be stressful at times, the last thing I want you to worry about is your makeup!

HBD: We couldn't agree more! What sets you apart as a Makeup Artist?
Ebony: Aside from bridal, I'm really big on educating clients. I have how-to makeup classes that will be starting soon. I encounter women daily that want to know how to put their makeup on. I find that taking on more of a hands-on approach makes it more fun.

HBD: We have seen your wide selection and can't wait to see what you will be offering! Why are you participating in Her Big Day: A Cultural Wedding Affair?

Eden Hagos - Exclusive DJ for 2016 Her Big Day Wedding Show

{LISTEN HERE to DJ Eden Hagos - "Feelings" Mix Clip}

There is no such thing as a party without music. And music is much more fun when it's spun by this gorgeous beat master. Meet Eden Hagos, the exclusive DJ for our first annual wedding show! Not only is she spinning live music at the show, but she too is a bride to be who is in the midst of planning her own wedding!

Here is more about the artist from her About page at eden-hagos.com :

Eritrean by way of Los Angeles, beat lover Eden Hagos brings visibility to those future sounds that you can't quite put your genre finger on. Deeply rooted in underground hip hop, sample-based, percussion-heavy tunes and future bass, Eden's ear for unique sounds has kept her digging since her uncle gifted her with her first Fugees album at age 16.

Since 2011, Eden has dropped 12 mixtapes. The third installation, Currently, caught the attention of Okayfuture, deeming the young beatstress a "prophet of future sounds." The beat scene and local producers started listening and partnerships with artists, labels and connectors in the community became plentiful.

Eden's influences come from those nearby - those who have given the San Diego and Los Angeles beat scenes a name - artists like AbJo, Mike Gao, eLan, Gonjasufi, Gaslamp Killer and the Soulection movement.

Eden is poised to bring light to the beat makers in this movement while uncovering and educating folks along the way of all genres that exist within these future sounds.

See DJ Eden Hagos for yourself at our show on Sunday, January 31st at the DoubleTree by Hilton by buying your tickets here: bit.ly/herbigday2016
